Md. Mohashin Miah, popularly known as the "Trouble Shooter" in the banking sector of Bangladesh, began his career in 1984 at Sonali Bank Ltd under the Talent Scheme. He later moved to Banque Indosuez, where he held several key positions and played a vital role in the bank's operations.
He was appointed as the founding Additional Managing Director of Meghna Bank Limited and later served as the Managing Director (Current Charge). Throughout his distinguished 34-year career in banking, he has held numerous important positions, demonstrating exceptional skill, professionalism, and integrity.
In addition, he has served as the Managing Director of First Finance Limited, a non-banking financial institution. Currently, he is serving as the Chairman, Executive Committee of the Board,
Bangladesh Commerce Bank Ltd.
Md. Mohashin Miah completed his Master's degree in Bangla Literature from Jahangirnagar University and later earned an MBA. His career has been marked by success, dedication, and straightforwardness, earning him respect and recognition in the banking industry.
